Guidelines for Authors

Jurnal Teknik Sipil (JTS|p-ISSN: 2089-4953|e-ISSN: 2775-815X) is published by Civil Engineering Department, Nusa Cendana University.
The JTS is a multidisciplinary, an open-access, peer-reviewed journal concerned with all aspects of civil engineering.

Jurnal Teknik Sipil welcomes contributions which promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse between practicing educators and civil engineering researchers. This journal provides researchers and practitioners in structural and civil engineering with a unique forum for disseminating new ideas and techniques with significant potential impact.

The JTS is dedicated to advancing the boundary of knowledge and technology by encouraging cross-disciplinary researches and innovative applications in major engineering projects. The journal intends to capture and archive in a timely manner and in one venue significant advancements of a broad field that encompasses.

Submission and Correspondence

Author shall submit paper by using our online submission system. File shall be named as follows: first three letters shall be JTS, followed by the first name of the first author and first word of the title, e.g.: JTS-hadi-comparison. Our online submission system guides you stepwise through the process of entering your article details and uploading your files. Editable files (e.g., MS-Word) are required to typeset your article. All correspondences, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, will be sent through our online system.
Manuscripts should be editable (e.g., MS-Word) and typed based on the journal template. All correspondences to the Editor should be addressed to: jts.undana@gmail.com

Publication Charges

Jurnal Teknik Sipil applies the Article Processing Charges (APC) as Article Submission Charges. The APC is Rp. 250.000.

Open Access and Publication Charges

This journal is an Open Access journal, which is free to access and read on the Internet.

Plagiarism Screening

Plagiarism is a threat to scholarly publishing in general and to Jurnal Teknik Sipil in particular. Originality of the submitted work can be assured through plagiarism screening and rejection of suspected material. For maximum effectiveness, all articles submitted to the Jurnal Teknik Sipil  shall be sent to a plagiarism detection process prior to submission.

Review
All papers will be assigned to independent experts for peer-review. A single-blind review is applied, where authors' identities are known to reviewers. Based on the comments and advice of the peer-reviewers, the Editor will make a decision to accept, to reject, or to ask authors to revise the manuscript. For Minor Revisions the authors will have one week to resubmit their revised manuscript. For Major Revisions the authors will have two weeks to resubmit their revised manuscript. However, authors should contact the editorial office if extended revision time is anticipated. All reviewer comments should be responded to in a point-by-point fashion. Where the authors disagree with a reviewer, they must provide a clear response.

Production and Publication

Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo professional copy-editing, English editing, proofreading by the authors, final corrections, pagination, and, publication on the http://sipil.ejournal.web.id website.

Articles published in Jurnal Teknik Sipil will be Open-Access articles distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY NC SA). Jurnal Teknik Sipil allows the author(s) to hold the copyright and to retain the publishing rights. This journal will insert the following note at the end of the published text:
